Paulo promoted to starting side for Origin II

NSWRL

The NSWRL is pleased to announce the Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues team for Game Two of the Ampol State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Sunday 27 June.

Junior Paulo has been named to start in the front row after Jake Trbojevic was ruled out through injury while Angus Crichton joins the bench in the only changes to the team that won the opening game in Townsville. Dale Finucane joins Apisai Koroisau and Campbell Graham on an extended bench.

“It’s a good spot to be in at the moment, where you have got Dale on the extended bench,” Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler said.

“He has been incredible for Melbourne over the last month, so we are in a good spot.

“Angus and Dale are both fit, and they have been outstanding for their clubs. The team won’t change much.”

The team will be based at Kingscliff on NSW’s far north coast as a precautionary measure following the COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
